Privacy

Summary
Easy Worship does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. No analytics, no telemetry, no user account. Everything the extension does happens locally, inside your browser.
Data saved
The extension only saves your display preferences:
- in the browser’s synced storage (
storage.sync): your song and chord settings (colours, hidden or simplified chords, space optimisation) and the choice of instruments in the floating menu. If you have turned on your browser’s sync, it is the browser, not the extension, that passes them to your other devices; - in the device’s local storage (
storage.local, never synced): the floating button’s position and the theme preference (system, light or dark).
The extension does not pass any of this to a third party.
Reading pages
On the five supported sites, and only there, the extension reads the displayed song to change how it looks, to spot its chords and to prepare the A4 file you ask for. This processing is entirely local: neither the song, nor the page address, nor your browsing history is sent to anyone.
Network requests
The extension makes no network calls: no fetch, no analytics, no telemetry. The
chord diagrams, the icons and all the code are bundled in the extension.
Permissions requested
A single permission: storage, to save the preferences above. No broad permission
(tabs, activeTab, scripting, access to all sites…) is
requested: access is limited, by the extension’s declarations, to the five supported
sites.
No remote code
Manifest V3 forbids loading remote scripts anyway. The extension’s code is entirely bundled in the package distributed on the stores, with a single third-party library, html2canvas, which is used to produce the A4 file and runs locally.
Children
Easy Worship is not directed at children and does not collect personal data from any user, regardless of age.
Changes to this policy
Any change to this policy will be published at this same address, with the date above updated accordingly.
